London Exhibition, The Hoxton x Artig Gallery
The Hoxton Holborn and Artig Gallery present "An Old Innocence" an exhibition of paintings created by the renowned artist Karl Bielik from London, finalist of the British Contemporary Painting Award in 2016 and selected for the triennial exhibition of the 2015 London Open at the Whitechapel Gallery.
Until May 14th 2017, the visitors of The Hoxton Holborn Hotel can discover the 25 unique oil paintings on cardboard and canvas created by the artist under an extensive process of expressive action, contemplation and incubation.
The small format works (most are around 28cmx 23cm) are inspired by Bielik's extensive reflection on medical books, diagrams and photographs. The artist with his characteristic expressive brush strokes created these series of original works bursting with bright colors but with a melancholic trace that identifies his work.
The collection of paintings "An Old Innocence" is showcased on the walls of The Hoxton Holborn, a cosmopolitan and very trendy hotel, bar and restaurant in the lively neighborhood of Midtown in London.
If you are lucky enough to be in London until the 14th of May, come join us at The Hoxton! All works can be purchased and taken home directly, avoiding any shipping cost.
But don’t worry if you can’t make it to London in time: All works can be discovered and acquired directly through Artig Gallery for a limited time, just visit: Artig Gallery x Hoxton for more information.
